Sharon Grant born and raised in London, England started performing in school plays and concerts at the tender age of 6.  By high school she started singing professionally and modeling which spanned an over 10 year career. 

She moved with her family to the states in 1981 and continued singing with different bands including the early Hip Hop group the Force MDs.  She was in the band Rasrootz in 2004 when they were on the bill with Random Test.  A week later she got a call from McIntyre whom extended her an offer to be the lead female for Random Test.
